CAN THERAPY HELP ME?
Therapy can address such issues as anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. After an initial consultation, I can provide more information on treatment options.
WHAT TYPE OF THERAPY DO YOU PRACTICE?
While I tailor my approach to therapy for each individual, I generally take a cognitive - behavioral approach to treatment. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) focuses on understanding how our thoughts affect our emotions and our responses to events in our lives. It is an active treatment that helps people make the changes they seek.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
I am an in-network provider for a number of insurance plans. If I am not a provider for your plan, I will provide you with a receipt which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Insurance plans are often confusing; I am happy to try to help you determine your benefits under your plan.
